[Tool] How to check if you have already received your BOScoins after claiming them?

#1

I have built a simple tool that allows you to verify whether or not your BOScoins have already been added to your web wallet account following up on your claim request. Just enter your public key to find out if your request has already been processed by the team.

You find the tool here.

Hi does this tool still work?
Before it showed that i had received my coins and today it shows that i havent?

I had issues with my secret seed it wasnt working!! Still isnt tried all the recommendations but it aint working still? Could it be that the coins werent transferred?
Kind regards!

It does now. There was a maintenance on Friday in which the TokenNet has changed domains. This caused the tool to malfunction. I updated the tool to operate on the new TokenNet domain, it should be working properly again.

Try your to enter your public key again to see if your account has balance. If it has at least 0.1 BOS, you should be able to open it with your secret key.

Guys dont you think that it is abit harsh if ones secret seed does not work or grts misplaced andit cant be recovered!
I think there should be measures to recover secret seeds!

#12

If we could recover your secret seed, then the wallets wouldn’t be very secure. Right now, it’s just about impossible (takes about .4 billion years to break a secret seed for a wallet) for someone to get into your wallet

#13

You add “recovery” and now every scammer in the world is going to be stealing peoples money. Just keep your secret seed safe, and you have no worries. We are of course going to support hardware wallets in the future, and make the storage of the secret seed more secure.

#14

Then would it not be more secure to leave your tokens on the web profile and then transfer them to a web wallet later? Is that possible, or is there a deadline for people to claim their tokens?

#15

The dashboard doesn’t contain any coins that is just a number nothing more. you need to get the coins transfered to your wallet. follow the claim guide https://medium.com/@boscoin/newsletter-october-30th-2017-9dafb1801e5f

My secret seed does ot seem to work. I tried it using different browsers. Went incognito and it just does not work. Considering we had to have tokens transferred before the wallet can open we were unable to check it before. So surely there should be a way to recover secret seeds. Otherwise we loose the coins

#17

There is no recovery. A valid secret seed is the only way to access your wallet. The secret seed generated with your public address would work if entered correctly.

If you have more than 0.1 BOS in your wallet.
